Paintless Dent Repair is an ART! As a former animation
artist, I sculpt the metal back to it's original shape with artistic precision!
This skill allows me to make repairs that were considered impossible or
only able to be made to look better.
Skilled craftsmen known as "Ding Masters" performed paintless
Dent Repair on auto assembly lines. If a car were damaged during assembly,
a Ding Master would repair it on site without part replacement. This artistic
need diminished over the years, then reappeared in the early 1980's. During
the 1980's Paintless Dent Removal started with a few small franchises,
but PDR had limits to the size of dents that could be repaired. In the
mid 1990's, Paintless Dent Removal grew to new levels, due to advances
in technology and glue pullers. Today, much larger dents can be repaired
with Paintless Dent Repair.
Most minor dings and dents can be removed
with Paintless Dent Removal. The original paint should not be damaged.
A scuff or chip is acceptable. The edges of a panel are sometimes repairable;
however, access may be limited. Paintless Dent Repair in New Jersey can
remove many dents that other PDR companies can’t. My experience
as an artist and body shop technician allow me to make the finest repair
possible. Today, Paintless Dent repair is a refined combination of science
and skilled craftsmanship. Damaged metal is moved back into shape by hand
with other metal and nylon tools. Under the right conditions, a ding or
minor dent repaired by a skilled technician is undetectable. However,
not every dent is repairable. Some locations, where metal is doubled or
stretched, can't be repaired using PDR.
